This app gives anyone the ability to create their own interactive book.  This could be used in a number of different ways, as the app has the ability to create a photo book, recipe book, diary, PDF documents, etc. This app could be used in a class for creative writing to help bring life to the students’ writings.

How it Works:

A multimedia book can be created by adding pictures, text, voice recordings, songs, and videos to a page, or using the drawing tool. Everything within the story can be edited, which creates a much more personalized story. Books can be shared using iBooks, Google Drive, iTunes, email, or save it as a PDF document.

Super Duper StoryMaker

Super Duper StoryMaker is an IOS app. It is not free. It is $4.99. With this app, students can create their own stories using text, sounds, pictures, and drawings. These stories then can me saved, printed and email.

I would use this app with my students as an elementary school teacher. This allows students to be creative and put their thoughts in a book.

English Writing Skills

Description:

English Writing Skills is a free IOS app for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. It's an accessible app where students can learn how to effectively write a variety of papers including biographies, cover letters, reports, and essays. There are also many tips including how to improve writing skills, use tables and figures, use punctuation and write introductions and conclusions.

How it Works:

It provides accessible knowledge on how to write a variety of papers which will help my students immensely because of its easy accessibility and descriptive explanations.

The Shmoop Essay Lab

The Shmoop Essay lab is an online, interactive app that guides students through the process of writing different styles of essays. It includes sections for brainstorming, forming a thesis, and editing essays. Students can choose from argumentative essays, literary analysis, and even college application essays, and they recieve tips and step-by-step help in creating their papers.
