            This app makes learning vocabulary words fun and engaging. This app is a fun way for children and parents to refresh their science vocabulary words. The app includes a memory challenge that checks with Life, Earth, and Physical sciences through interactive flash cards. There is a trivia challenge that includes all the sciences together. This could easily be used in a classroom setting as an interactive activity, or be used at home to get the parents more involved. Sparklefish is a free app available on iTunes. It allows students to record parts of speech in their own voices in order to complete pre-recorded stories. It is very much like an interactive, audio version of Mad-Libs, which kids love because it is silly and fun. It is also good for practicing parts of speech, such as adverbs, nouns, etc. This app would also be helpful for students who have problems with pronounciation and enunciation.

The teacher can record student grades, attendance, and student performance in this app. With the grade section of this app you can apply weighted or point-based scales. Extra credit can be awarded and penalty points can be deducted. With the behavior section the teacher can keep track of performance, participation, preparedness, behavior, conduct, and many others. With the attendance section the teacher can make a student as present, tardy, and absent. With the absent and tardy selections it can be flagged excused or unexcused.  Stick Pick is an app that can be used as an assignment tool. This app allows the teacher to pick students at random. With this app you can put questions into each lesson the when a child name is drawn it puts a question with that child. The question for each child is chosen is based on degree of difficulty that can be chosen for each student. Then teachers can rate the students understanding of the question from 0-5. With this app it is easy to send student progress to the parents with one click. This app has a four star rating and cost $2.99.

With this app the teacher can track the students attendance and it also makes recording students behavior easy.  As the teacher you can give your students instant feedback. When the children receive positive feedback this app can keep track of positive behavior points the children have received. It also allows the teacher to encourage the behaviors important to the classroom. This app also has a feature that allows you to share behavior reports with the parents at the click of one button. On the apple app store this app has an overall five start rating. It is a free app which gives teachers even more of a reason to try it out.

Google Docs and Google Drive allow teachers and students to share and collaborate on files. Users can use the chat function to communicate while they work together on a file—regardless of where they are. There is even a hangout add-on that allows users to communicate via webcam while working on a document.
